Protection of Personal Data for Our Users Clarification Text

 

As EasyCep Bilişim ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi (“EasyCep”) in the capacity of data controller, in order for the users of our website www.easycep.com (“EasyCep Website”) to benefit from the services we provide on the EasyCep Website in a safe, peaceful and complete manner, We attach great importance to ensuring confidentiality and protecting your personal data. In this respect, the Protection of Personal Data for our Users Clarification Text (hereinafter referred to as the "Text") is in harmony with our Cookie Policy on our EasyCep Website. For this reason, we recommend that you review our Cookie Policy together with the Personal Data Protection Clarification Text for these Users.

This Text has been prepared in order to process the personal data of EasyCep Website users in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“Law”) and to inform the users about this issue. In addition, with this Text, EasyCep aims to determine the conditions regarding the use of personal data shared with EasyCep by all kinds of users (commonly referred to as "Data Owner") during the operation of the EasyCep Website or generated by EasyCep during the use of the Data Owner's EasyCep Website.

With this text, EasyCep Website users can access comprehensive information regarding the protection of their personal data and their privacy regarding their use of the EasyCep Website.

 

WHICH PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED?

User data, which is considered personal data in accordance with the above-mentioned Law and processed by EasyCep, are as follows: name, surname, TR Identity Number, telephone number, address information, credit card number, credit card CVC code, credit card expiration date, imei number, order information and history, e-mail address, user name, iban information, account number information, billing information, customer reviews/comments, tax identification number, site visit information, password, password, IP information.

Unless otherwise stated, the term "Personal Data" shall include the data specified above, within the scope of the conditions provided within the scope of this Text. However, it should be noted that data that has been irreversibly anonymized pursuant to Article 7 of the Law will not be considered as Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of the Law. The processing activities regarding the data created in this way are carried out independently of the provisions of this Text.

 

WHAT ARE THE PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA?

EasyCep personal data is collected from users' transactions on the EasyCep Website and processes and transfers for the purposes and reasons specified in this Text.

EasyCep can process the Personal Data provided by the Data Owner for the purposes listed below:

  • Making membership registration within the scope of EasyCep Website and keeping records related to it.

  • Planning and execution of EasyCep's commercial or business strategies.

  • Receiving and evaluating feedback for improvement of activities.

  • To follow up and finalize requests/complaints.

  • Carrying out surveys and activities for customer satisfaction.

  • Ensuring the legal, commercial and technical security of EasyCep and the people with whom it has business relations.

  • To enable users to benefit effectively from the services provided through the EasyCep Website.

  • Monitoring the performance by detecting system errors and improving and developing the operation of the EasyCep Website.

  • Carrying out the necessary work by the relevant business units for the realization of commercial activities carried out by EasyCep.

Provided that your personal data processed by EasyCep is expressly stipulated in the laws within the scope of Article 5 of the Law, and it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract we have made with you, the processing of personal data is necessary, necessary for the fulfillment of our legal obligations, and not to harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Data Owner. Provided that data processing is mandatory for EasyCep's legitimate interests, it can be processed in accordance with express consent.

 

PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION METHOD

Your personal data transmitted by EasyCep electronically or physically, in accordance with the purposes set forth in this Text, pursuant to Article 5 of the Law; fully or partially automated or non-automatic, provided that it is a part of any data recording system.

 

OPEN CONSENT

In case of explicit consent of the Data Owner, EasyCep will be able to process the Personal Data for the following purposes by tracking the movements of the Data Owners on the EasyCep Website:

  • Statistics creation and profiling.

  • Increasing the user experience.

  • Direct marketing and remarketing.

  • Creating and sending user-specific promotions to the relevant user.

  • Using the data obtained within the specified scopes in the content of advertisements and materials.

It should be noted that EasyCep will be able to share Personal Data in the following ways and with the parties specified, within the scope of the above-mentioned conditions.

 

HOW TO TRANSFER?

In line with the purposes and principles set forth in this Text, EasyCep can transfer the Personal Data of the Data Owner users and the new data it obtains to the third parties and business partners whose services it uses. In addition, EasyCep can transfer Personal Data and new data obtained with this data to outsourcing service providers, business partners, hosting service providers, research companies, call centers and, if necessary, law offices for the following purposes:

  • Making operational evaluations,

  • To ensure the security of the Data Owner user,

  • To detect fraudulent or unauthorized use,

  • Providing customer surveys,

  • To fix errors in EasyCep Website services and similar purposes.

 

EasyCep can share the Personal Data of Data Owner users with EasyCep company officials, shareholders, business partners and authorized public and private institutions and organizations in accordance with the conditions stated above and in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law. On the other hand, EasyCep personal data can be transferred abroad within the framework of the conditions in Article 9 of the Law, in line with the decisions of the Personal Data Protection Board and express consent.

 

YOUR RIGHTS AS A RELATED PERSON AND METHODS OF USE

The rights that individual groups can exercise regarding their personal data are included in Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data and are as follows.

  • To request the compensation of the damage in case of loss due to unlawful processing of personal data.
